Pilates


Pilates is very beneficial for so many aspects of general well being and fitness 

  • it increases core stability

  • it offers a total body conditioning by strengthening and toning the entire body

  • corrects muscle imbalances

  • improves posture

  • focus on gluteal muscle strengthening

Pilates principals are used to help with a more comprehensive foot and lower limb assessment to make sure that symptoms in the feet, leg and pelvis are addressed.  This may involve strengthening exercise for the abdominals and gluteals that can take pressure off the feet and avoid foot pain reoccurring in the long term.
